The downtown buildings make stuff like the Back Bay Marriott, Crown Plaza look tiny. After the Back Bay big 4 of 200 clarendon, Pru, 1 Dalton, 111 Huntington, I think the Marriott/Crown Plaza are the next tallest buildings in that neighborhood. My guess would be they are around 450' or 135 meters.

Man those Back Bay high rises look quite tall in person and just in Back Bay skyline pics. But when you have the panoramas with downtown/FD, it makes them look tiny. Some of those buildings are 35-38 stories tall and they look tiny!

So is this officially u/c??? Wiki article says it is and gives a completion date of 2020.

Yeah I have a friend in CT (don't know which part) and they use JFK. Of course they used to live in NYC before. But I am pretty sure they are closer to JFK than to BOS. That might explain it.

Re: 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District I hope they don't make this a bulky building. 691' is tall enough for boston (tallest in downtown) but if its bulky it will detract from it. Also Millenium Tower is a very pretty building, the renders for this look a lot less attractive.

A single 1000' supertall would really enhance the downtown/financial district skyline. With 1 Dalton, Boston has 20 buildings of 150+ meters, which ranks behind NYC, Chicago, Miami, Houston, LA, and San Francisco. Tied with Dallas I think. Boston therefore has a decently-large-but-not-massive...
