The earlier plans clearly showed the tower being built onto the existing garage, and then subsequent plans to demolish parts of the garage and wrap other parts of it.

I'm worried a tall residential tower will be stuck onto the garage, the economy will change, and we'll have a massive garage and a massive, boxy tower. Has anybody seen evidence that they must take down any portion of this garage to build the (less attractive) boxy residential tower?

I love these renderings! Nice to see that the market research was favorable enough to use the term "Downtown Crossing" in marketing outreach, a name that developers have consistently shied away from.

This one's shaping up real nicely - maybe they could put a scrim up on the side showing the old whale mural that it's now blocking!
