Levy is great when talking in the abstract. But when talking political realities... not so much.

Alon Levy wrote a post about the GLX (not a fan to say the least) and mentioned that the new fare system was supposed to have been ready for the GLX opening but was pushed back. So these stations will, eventually, get the new fare gates.

That station looks as bare bones as possible.

I'm usually down for buildings that stand out... but this is wrong on many levels.

It looks so elegant... except from that one angle.

Given the height limits over there, that red square is too small. Otherwise you'll have to engineer quite the expensive small box. If you built the majority of that building, especially the core, over the parking lot and cantilevered it over the ramps you'd have a more "affordable" building.

That's most developments in all cities. That's why they are affordable.

What's up with these long walkways from the stairs/elevator to the platform? I get that they are there for future proofing. But why not just build the platforms closer and leave space on the other end? Why make people walk (or wheelchair) further?
