The NoMa building is true market rate residential, not student housing. SoMa site 4 is the replacement graduate housing. It's done, and they're moved in. Site 3 is 100% leased as far as lab space, so I would expect Eastgate to come down and building 2 to rise soon. Have not heard a schedule...

All below grade parking garages have pumps that would be used to dewater. In general, there is very little water in these garages. On the rare occasion (however often anyone really thinks this will happen, it's still relatively rare) of a seawater surge into the garage, it'll get pumped out...

Shows you the difference between MIT buildings and MITIMCo buildings. Buildings 2 & 5 are MITIMCo while building 4 is by MIT proper. The others are not turning heads with their aesthetics, while this one is visually grabbing your attention.

Woulda been better if the city hadn't dicked around with getting Castle Island their permit for here as well. Coulda been a real happening spot. Hopefully someone else trys again.
