Green Line Extension to Medford & Union Sq

I suppose if the transfer at Alewife could be made easier and faster than the Porter one, then it might make some sense. The transfer at Porter is laborious. I'm a fairly fit person, but it's a lot of stairs (I counted them once but have forgotten), then more to get to the lower tracks if...

NEMA Boston | 399 Congress St. | Seaport

Re: Residences at 399 Congress St (formerly Madison Seaport Hotel) At the storefront system along the streetwall? In that case, the blank metal panel would probably be louver and not as plain at the mockup. Edit : Snaked by Arborway.

NEMA Boston | 399 Congress St. | Seaport

Re: Residences at 399 Congress St (formerly Madison Seaport Hotel) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NEMA_enclosure_types Pretty well known acronym yes.... poor choice. Unless they designed it to look like an electrical panel.

Encore Boston Harbor Casino | 1 Broadway | Everett

I designed 2 million sf of space at the Bethlehem Casino, 1 million of that was parking garage. Which I just learned is also about to be sold. Spooky. https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/wind-creek-hospitality-to-acquire-sands-casino-resort-bethlehem-for-13-billion-300611544.html

Lovejoy Wharf | 131 Beverly Street | West End

Wow! Was not aware. My trip to Montreal last fall tells me there are a lot of people buying condos then. Major boom.

Lovejoy Wharf | 131 Beverly Street | West End

http://www.bostonluxuryresidential.com/luxury_buildings/lovejoy-wharf Maybe it's over valued. Maybe we are running out of people looking for $1,000+/sf to buy or $4+/sf to rent. Or, something entirely different.

    Cambridge Infill and Small Developments

About time. Though I would truly like to see some type of performance venue included in whatever is developed. I loved the original plan, but knew it was likely never to happen. Something a neighborhood could really use though, is live entertainment.

Dock Square Parking Garage | 20 Clinton Street | Downtown

Re: Dock Square Parking Garage, 20 Clinton Street City better kick in some loot. Most of those above grade garages are considered open, so do not have sprinkler systems. Big cost to add all that.

Also sounds 100% like cigarettes. I highly doubtful I'll find a lot of them in there either.

This was my thought exactly. It hides the good that this approach allowed.

    121 Seaport Boulevard | Parcel L2 | Seaport Square

I usually can't wait to get off the brick portions of the sidewalks in Kendall in the winter. The ice coats the smooth finish much better, and I've tweaked a hip or knee plenty of times hustling to the train, or just strolling to work in the am. Pavers can be any color. They need to spice it...

Thanks. I went by 300 Mass Ave. Today to snap a pic if just what you mentioned. I've brought it up in the past when this same discussion comes up. I'd post, but since I switched back to Flickr after the Photobucket debacle, I haven't figured out how yet.

Encore Boston Harbor Casino | 1 Broadway | Everett

Suffolk Construction is the GC per all info I've ever seen. The only Direnzo I know around here is a site work company, and not a GC.

South Weymouth NAS Redevelopment | Southfield | Weymouth

And a bs one at that since the jackasses in Rockland nixed the reconnection of union Street Rockland to union Street Weymouth like it was before the Navy took the land.

SBWTC /South Boston Waterfront Transportation Center | Seaport

As a reminder. No parking has been lost in the Seaport. All those surface spots still exist in below grade garages. Not sure the net gain, but there is not net loss.
