Maybe not. But my biggest issue with Avalon is how incoherent the overall form is. The massing, the placement of the glass and lights, the angles and the cuts, it looks like it was thrown together by an amateur. From most angles it's just a mess. I don't think that will happen here. Not saying...

Great photo. This clearly shows how dramatically the Omni will alter this view. Even Marine Wharf seems surprisingly close here, and will provide a focal point and visual terminus to a street that used to just taper off into a void.

The pathway is pretty nice, and turns what would otherwise be a seedy and inaccessible underworld into an interesting walk. Problem is that the path doesn't really lead anywhere. It dumps you off at eight lanes of traffic and a huge vacant lot, not a single store or coffee shop or residence or...
