Quaker Lane + Congress Square | Downtown

Few people in my company go to the office every day -- I used to go 1-2 times a month. My wife went 1-2 times a year when she worked there. Thus it is mostly about hoteling. There are some permanent seating for internal people not pictured here.

It is exposed ceiling throughout, both on the "old" floors and on "hat" floors. FWIW I wasn't wearing a sweater and I ended up putting my winter coat on inside. I did not make the connection to the ceiling. There are still construction guys on every floor with lots of work going on everywhere.

Quaker Lane + Congress Square | Downtown

My office opened on Monday. The topmost floors won't be ready until March, but I thought you might like some of the views from inside from the 12th floor and below:

I've been told my company's move in date to this building is January 14th. Not all the floors will be fully ready until March, but it will be opening soon!

Echelon Seaport | 133-135 Seaport Blvd | Seaport

Yesterday was the first time I've had a chance to walk down this way. I have to say that this development looks like it will be quite a positive addition to the area. Creating a streetwall: Nobody mentioned that this building was going to become a firefly zoo: I never sausage a...

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

Everything is known on "the internet"! :) You know, I am 21st centuryized enough to think that those were TVs showing ads in between boarding info. I guess that black cube in the background was a TV showing track info? I don't see any clicky solari board or anything. The diagram datadyne...

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

I dimly recall taking the train to Rockport with my grandmother as a small boy and thinking even then that North Station was a dump. I suppose the waiting area might have been wider than today before the wooden trestle burned in the 80s.

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

It wasn't that long ago this area looked like this: Some Mad Max cars wouldn't have been out of place. I get the concerns some elucidated in the past with the three new landscrapers across the street, or concerns about the office tower, but what a change! Old school look at the old school...

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

Old and New: If the Tip O'Neill building weren't visible I'd scarcely know where I was: Perhaps the perspective effect of the windows on the new building help make the O'Neil building seem less awful from here?

Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

heat haze, heat haze amongst the sprawl, who's the tallest of them all? R2D2 was always sensitive about his height....

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

It is really striking to me just how much this project changes Causeway street. Is Bobby happy about his goal... Or because he noticed that the horizontal vee pattern on the building's front becomes a vertical pattern on its side: Causeway street is nearly unrecognizable from this side...

You can keep your towers, this is the most exciting thing I've seen in a long time.

    TransitMatters Regional Rail Plan

Re: 2/28/18: Thank You TransitMatters for a Bold and Practical Vision Incidentally, wouldn't you want to electrify Stoughton as well? It's only 5 miles or so of single track, isn't it? One would get extra flexibility in being able to send electrics down there as well for not too much extra cash.
