It says White Hall has been demolished? Haven't been over there in a while. Is that so? I know they closed it due to structural issues, but it would be news to me that they took it down.

AND people turning right onto Albany love to swing into the bike lane (for unclear reasons since they can certainly make the turn without doing that).

D St being realigned and also made to have a tree lined median was interesting to see.

This will be a REALLY big undertaking for the T! Some things: - Realign Cambridgepark Drive to meet Rindge Ave directly - Build the ped/bike paths on either side of the Fitchburg ROW - Infill commuter rail station - Several bridges across the tracks - Already a precedent for tall buildings here...

My condo is about 2ft above ground level, but when I sit on the couch, my head is still lower than people walking down the sidewalk. I HATE it. Shades always mostly closed (I have the bottom-up type)

I think it's because given this location, it would make sense to have a restaurant open to the public there, not just an office building's cafe. This is an office building in the middle of a retail and tourist area.

Glad they are filling in that spot, though it's pretty glaring that there should be ground floor retail.

If these buildings didn't overhang the sidewalk, they might not end up being so imposing. The one next to this at Longwood Ave causes me so much anxiety being near it. Not that it's gonna fall over or anything, bit it just gives me "bursting at the seems" energy.

I wish it didn't have the stripe at each floor.

Since this thread was bumped, wanted to update my comment to say that apparently this was proposal was canceled because they ended up just repairing the exterior pretty much as it was.
