    Portland International Jetport | PWM

Portland is one of the fastest growing cities on the East Coast and Maine is being discovered and revisited by more people every year….PWM will only get busier from here on out…hopefully they are planning for the future now!

    100 Fore Street | Portland

Short and stubby....that would be great at Rock Row.

    USM | Portland

The University of Maine just has way too many University of Maine campuses. It should be just Orono and Portland.

    USM | Portland

I think that USM will go private eventually.....it may still have "public" elements (like a BOD appointed by the state) but its development will be stymied if it continues to operate within the UM system.

    Portland International Jetport | PWM

New Hampshire should just be annexed to Maine, MA and Vermont. Maine gets Carroll, Belknap, Strafford & Merrimack......MA gets Cheshire, Hillsborough & Rockingham.....Vermont gets Sullivan, Grafton & Coos.

    USM | Portland

I think that USM's days as a purely "public" university are numbered....and that's a good thing.

    Portland International Jetport | PWM

Yikes on MHT. Flew out of there once when Southwest first started flying out of there.....and that was that. I really hope that PWM gets something going to the West Coast someday...and Vegas as well.

The Ultility Poles and Wires of Portland, ME

Hobson’s Landing wires can double as clothes lines or zip lines from some of those balconies.

The Longfellow Hotel | 754 Congress Street | Portland

It's cheaper to take a flight to San Francisco and spend a night there than to stay overnight in Portland, Maine....weird.

    Brunswick Development

I need to walk around Bowdoin sometime.....the trees and landscaping look gorgeous.

    Portland Bayside

This development is all about density and infrastructure design. This area needs to be livable! Nice wide sidewalks, planted trees, benches.....hopefully some public areas that don't become homeless magnets. I have high hopes for this.....this is lining up to become the battle of Bayside vs...

Portland Foreside | 58 Fore Street | Portland

I hate to see new development mucked up but in this case.....maybe a good thing? The developer should be able to get this right because this is the high rent district. No cheaping out excuses.....design something great that is suitable for the location but at the same times maximizes returns...

Portland Foreside | 58 Fore Street | Portland

This thing has become a complete cluster****. We can only hope that things turn out "OK" but I don't have a lot of confidence that the remaining premier waterfront location in Portland is going to get its due. So sad if that happens. There are bits and pieces of this that are decent but there...

83 Middle St | CHOM Affordable Housing | Portland

They don't care what they look like because they are built to house poor people......let's call a spade a spade.

83 Middle St | CHOM Affordable Housing | Portland

    Come on......colors.....cheap materials.....there are choices.

83 Middle St | CHOM Affordable Housing | Portland

It doesn't need to be....a box can be beautiful.....or it can be hideous.

Time & Temp Building / Brown St. Parking Garage Redevelopment | Portland

That's pretty stupid not to allow the signage to become smaller.....only in Maine. Should have been black background with gold/beige lettering to match building color.

Portland Foreside | 58 Fore Street | Portland

Just think how many more of those views there could have been if they had built more floors!

The Casco | 201 Federal Street | Portland

I really like the brick color used.....it blends in so much better than the "red" brick.
