    It’s not lol…that neighborhood is all multi family units…mostly 2-3 each. It would be newsworthy if someone built a modern version of 100 Lexington st. I got this update from BLDUP today and was so confused.

    So painfully obvious…eliminating parking minimums would go a long way. Instead the state wants the suburbs to build dense bc they have commuter trains that show up once an hour at peak intervals.

    City should be encouraging high rises all over downtown with little or no parking…encourages Mbta use, walking, biking, more 24/7 downtown…win win.

    Back to hull tho…allerton hill is cool but it’s too far in. As soon as traction starts for thoughtful development of the HRA land it’s game over. The hull ferry should be moved as well…behind red sky maybe.

    Greenbush area has sewer? I assume drinking water is from same source as town overall, which has had issues with quality and quantity. I wonder how future development accounts for this.

    I agree it’s very much alive…but when the draw is let me take the T into the city so I can hit up home goods and macys. I just don’t understand. It’s worth saving but the current iteration isn’t “downtown” worthy imo. It could be better.

    Dtx suffers from vacancies and retail that isn’t exciting/run down - completely different from back bay and seaport. dtx with thousands of new apts would do wonders for the area…it’s annoying that it’s so slow to happen. As someone mentioned these issues were around before Covid.
