The last document on the BPDA website includes proposed changes to this project. Doc was published in .. 2016, I think? It says the developer was looking to change its original agreement to include 40 "affordable" units, presumably downward. Anyone know if this came to pass?

At the end of the day, it might not be anything like that to cause a "crash". Rumblings are that the new "mansion tax" is putting NYC into a "chill". But it could be temporary, or maybe the real estate people are trying to scare everyone...

OMG that's a messy turn of events. This project seems to have exploded with activity now that they are on to building the floors. And the steel girders seem .. really big? Head for the Omni when the next hurricane comes.

There's a hearing tomorrow night at the BPDA to eliminate 300 underground parking space from this project. It's not clear to me if this is news or not; the PNF says they weren't going to include any parking, or is that wrong?

Surprising absolutely no one, the BPDA will hear a request from the team behind Tremont Crossing to extend its designation as designated developer until they get their shit together.

My guess is the complaints from existing restaurants is that almost all of them are required to serve food with alcohol on their premises, including in their outside seating areas, whereas you can go into a beer garden and just drink ... beer. So, the random passerby who just wants a drink says...
