South Boston Infill and Small Developments

Re: South Boston Development IP is no closer to any T station (Aquarium, State, DTX or S Station) than the Seaport is to South Station.

Seaport Square (Formerly McCourt Seaport Parcels)

Just wanted to add D St to S Station is at most a 15 minute walk. I do it twice a day, to and from work. So the area hardly dependents on the SL to succeed.

Seaport Square (Formerly McCourt Seaport Parcels)

In addition to Liberty Warf we have Salvatore's, LTK, Morton's, Rosa Mexicanos, Empire, Strega, The Atlantic Beer Garden, Whiskey Priest, Sam's, The Barking Crab and as you mentioned...Anthony's (which I understand is simply moving). How many more food and drink options do you need?

Seaport Square (Formerly McCourt Seaport Parcels)

I live in Southie, and I'm down the Seaport at least once a week, whether it be for lunch/dinner or just drinks. The Seaport is ALWAYS busy. Busy to the point I won't even bother going down on a Friday or Saturday night in the summer because it's just to long of a wait for a table or seat at a bar.

Re: Millennium Place III | Hayward Place Has there ever been a time when this many cranes have dotted the Boston skyline? This sites second crane will make #9.

    Channel Center | Fort Point

Aren't we talking about a location in the middle of A St, between the access road and Gillette? How important is street level interaction here? It'll be barely visiable from Summer St. Seems like the perfect location for a garage to me.

South Boston Infill and Small Developments

Re: South Boston Development Pretty much. Flat eggshell walls, wall to wall carpet, wood veneer kitchen cabinets. Pretty basic/generic. What I liked was the amazing view the west side had of both Back Bay and the Financial Dist. For the money, had to be best 'bang for your buck' views of the...

South Boston Infill and Small Developments

Re: South Boston Development I don't believe 100%, but not sure how many units were affordable. The 1brs originally listed for $240k and the 2Brs were $320 back in 2005. There are 2 3brs as well. I went to the open house, that's how I know this.

South Boston Infill and Small Developments

Re: South Boston Development That's Phase I, and was originally developed by Pappas to appease the BRA's affordable hosing requirement when they were developing the McAllen building. It's scheduled to having the siding replaced at some point. Probably after the townhouses (Phases II & III) are...

South Boston Infill and Small Developments

Re: South Boston Development First St is a mess, and ANYONE willing to develope ANYTHING should be welcomed with open arms IMO. And what's with this neighborhood group? The faulty street lights and non-existent sideways are acceptable, but a lack of 3 and 4br units isn't? C'mon people.

Malden Minor League Baseball Stadium | Malden

Re: Malden Minor League Baseball Stadium Malden's stadium cap (6k) would be 1/6th that of Fenway, and even if they averaged 2,000 per game, it would be a success. Nobody expects 10,000 people to turn out for an independent league ballgame.

Malden Minor League Baseball Stadium | Malden

Re: Malden Minor League Baseball Stadium I agree. ^ I'd have little to no interest in heading up to Lowell or down to Brockton after work, but would certainly hop on the train and head to Malden for some beer and baseball.
