That’s the real piece of news in the article. Lots of progess has been made, but the majority of proposed development in the Canal District and the rest of the city has completely stalled.
Neighbors in Green Island are unhappy with these developments and fear to be pushed out. I do sympathize but that specific corner is an urban wasteland at the moment...
Great news! The first retail space at the Revington will be filled by - another bank.
UniBank snatched up a prime retail location, similar to the new Santander and BofA branches on Main Street. Who knew there was demand...
Luciano’s is still there, I’ve never eaten there but there seem to be quite busy with catering events at Union Station.
Worcester Food Hub is building a kitchen on the other end.

I took a look today. The platform is ready but the second track has not been laid. So only one train in the station at a time until that has been added.
Bonus:
Is that where that goes? I was confused and thought that the place was on Lamartine street where the old police substation was, or further up the street at 119 Chandler. I think it’s the same developer who owns those properties.

Just sticking that in here since this thread hasn’t been updated in a while.
This development is in project purgatory together with a number of other proposals in the city.
They may wait for more favorable borrowing conditions and/or construction costs...
