    Allston-Brighton Infill and Small Developments

I couldn't agree more, but the developer can't simple bury the overheads in front of his own development. Or could he?

    Boston Skyline Photos

Wishful thinking, but a thin 850-900' tower breaking the plane in the middle of the financial district (say between SST and IP) would set the Boston skyline off

    The New Residential Conversion Thread

I'm all for restoring this side of the building and getting rid of this ugly wall of random windows ows.

I knew he was very wealthy, but that's typically a 'billionaires' donation amount. Wow, he's done well.

Shreve, Crump & Low Redevelopment | 334-364 Boylston Street | Back Bay

The wrap around corner windows were a mistake IMO. There's enough detail to allow this building to blend in, but the corners make it stick out in a bad way.

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

Cool video. But at 1:30 , the report says the MBTA reopened the station to train travel in 1989 ??

    "Dirty Old Boston"

Steam war ships probably made her obsolete (as a fighter) towards the end.

Yeah, I was thinking the same.

    Patriot Place | Foxboro

It's horrendous. The Foxborough nimbys will oppose an addition of a neighbor's house even when the addition is directly behind said property owner's house with no visual impact or property abutments.

    Fantasy T maps

Three words/terms that should never be pluralized are 'Boston Garden', 'Boston Common', and the word 'anyway'. Anyway(z), Oustanding vision @wolfinator !! Very impressive

Gr Great pics. That retaining wall will be there until the end of time.

    10 Malcolm X Blvd | Roxbury

IMO, the revisions are improvements across the board. Especially putting the Dudley building on a horizontal diet.

The Harbor Towers should pay you for this image. Somehow you've made them look much less hideous.

Fenway Center (One Kenmore) | Turnpike Parcel 7, Beacon Street | Fenway

Nice pics. Looks like that freshly delivered iron in pic 3 will be tying in the gap at the Brookline Ave. bridge soon.

The former Brink's building, home of the largest robbery in the history of the US at the time (1950). I remember walking by this building daily in the late 70's on my way to Prince St from N Station. wiki The Brink's Job (film)

Lyrik Back Bay | 1001 Boylston Street (Parcel 12) | Back Bay

Unfortunately, I think the decline of US rail was mostly driven by the power of big business and the associated politics. In the 1950's, companies like Chevrolet, Ford, Oldsmobile, Plymouth, Goodyear, Standard Oil, Amoco certainly had no interest in further development of the rail network.

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

I like this angle. Almost makes it look like two separate buildings with a sleek tower rising up from behind in the near distance. It also captures the 3 tallest downtown high-rises in 1 shot.

Potential Exelon Mystic Station Redevelopment | Everett

I know it's a placeholder, but the Everett rendering is horrendous. No blank precast walls facing the waterfront please!
