Can anyone confirm if the Emirates lounge has opened? I know they moved over to E for departures, but I haven't seen any confirmation that the lounge has actually opened.

Interesting tidbit at the end of that article... "Emirates and Lufthansa, which has flights to Germany (Frankfurt and Munich) from Boston, haven’t committed to starting dates for their A380 service to Logan, but Glynn expects them to begin this year."

I received an email from Emirates that there was a change to my booking. The change is the move to E from 3/26. I assume that must coincide with their lounge opening. Looks like I'll be able to visit! That pleasant news should help me cope with the electronics ban!

Also, any word when lounges will be opening? Flying EK in mid April and hoping I can check out the new lounge. At a minimum I can take some photos, but still 6 weeks out from sharing those.

"The Lounge" in C does have some liquor. Nothing is self service - they have a bartender. Everything is complementary.

I just drove by Logan and there was a BA747 at E12 and an EK777 at E11. Looks like they might have started using the gates. Mass88 - not sure the lounges have been publicly confirmed but I think it's all but certain as stated above. For instance, Emirates had recent job postings for Boston...

Looks great. A couple 380 one offs coming up before month end and looks like it'll be ready! The reno to the existing hold areas was sorely needed. The old CRT screens at the gates made me cringe!

BA is bringing a one off A380 on the 29th, a few days after Emirates.

Emirates is a non factor. They'll fully be in E shortly. Their new lounge will be opening and the 380, which will not fit at C, is inevitable once the gates are ready.

I was by there earlier today and not much to report. Exterior looks largely complete although still some equipment outside and looks like tarmac work is in progress. From the exterior I could see lights on inside that looked like they were of the construction variety

I haven't seen any dates published. I'll be at Terminal E tomorrow and will share some qualitative obervations from the exterior. I haven't been over there since the end of October and the jetways were just starting to go up then. Overall I'd agree with your assessment. I take the Emirates...
