That's an impressive 2+5 massing honestly. Would do great with a classical detailing but then I saw the renders. Still this has gotta be one of the few 7-stories with wood construction. How many others are there in Boston?

So far I'm a fan. I like that they have little holes if you look close. Small-scale details like classical buildings. I think the building does look a little too white for Boston (should be more gray or beige or red) but I'll reassess when it's done. Interior should be spectacular.

The parking garage is extremely banal for 2020. I would say core Boston demands some more decoration/street activation. Also the tower is pretty banal. Not the worst, but combined with the parking garage and unimaginative street level, I'd say this needs to be sent back to the drawing board.

Well, I’ll relate the story of a big forum I read and am on the staff of, SkyscraperCity. They got sold a while back to some Canadian media company. The user experience has not changed at all, but now they have a staff of professional IT people to run the hosting as opposed to a single in-house...

So when is that like button coming? It should be very easy to upgrade a forum as small as this. If Edward is as wealthy as he portrays he can easily pay to upgrade the forum software and extensions within hours.

Sure doesn’t explain the multi-year lack of new user approvals (which would take literally minutes), but thankfully that is all behind us now. Thanks for starting the site, I’ve been here since an early Boston Globe Magazine mention, and certainly enjoy your new riches :)
