    Worcester Reactory Biopark

That whole area is essentially a suburban office park now so this will be fine. Worcester is kinda a lost cause in terms of urbanism anyway.

The Alcott (née Garden Garage Towers) | 35 Lomasney Way | West End

Re: Longfellow Place (née Garden Garage Towers) | 35 Lomasney Way | West End Disagree. The address should be good enough. We don't need thread titles cluttered with old marketing names.

Hood Business Park | 480-570 Rutherford Avenue | Charlestown

I like the yellow. That preclad brick section is just bizzare though.

Seriously time to take out the trash.

Residences at Brighton Marine | 1465 Comm. Ave | Brighton

That's an impressive 2+5 massing honestly. Would do great with a classical detailing but then I saw the renders. Still this has gotta be one of the few 7-stories with wood construction. How many others are there in Boston?

Harvard SEC (Science & Engineering Complex) | Western Ave | Allston

So far I'm a fan. I like that they have little holes if you look close. Small-scale details like classical buildings. I think the building does look a little too white for Boston (should be more gray or beige or red) but I'll reassess when it's done. Interior should be spectacular.

MXD Residential Tower | 121 Broadway | Kendall Square

The parking garage is extremely banal for 2020. I would say core Boston demands some more decoration/street activation. Also the tower is pretty banal. Not the worst, but combined with the parking garage and unimaginative street level, I'd say this needs to be sent back to the drawing board.

    archBOSTON Update: A New Dawn

Well, I’ll relate the story of a big forum I read and am on the staff of, SkyscraperCity. They got sold a while back to some Canadian media company. The user experience has not changed at all, but now they have a staff of professional IT people to run the hosting as opposed to a single in-house...

So when is that like button coming? It should be very easy to upgrade a forum as small as this. If Edward is as wealthy as he portrays he can easily pay to upgrade the forum software and extensions within hours.

    archBOSTON Update: A New Dawn

Sure doesn’t explain the multi-year lack of new user approvals (which would take literally minutes), but thankfully that is all behind us now. Thanks for starting the site, I’ve been here since an early Boston Globe Magazine mention, and certainly enjoy your new riches :)

Looks seriously awesome. Really love the improvements to the alley and open space as well.

Ban TheMagicMan. Also, not knocking you or anything, but I wonder what the selection process for choosing you was. Are you a personal friend of briv? Trust will be earned over time. Right now we definitely need to ban a troll and approve new user registrations. Medium term upgrade to Xenforo...

    Archboston revamp

Yes, I have a ton of free time at work and would love to help with the forum software and theming, either technically or financially. However, no progress has been made so I’m starting to care less and less. We should have made a clean break but some people like stagnation I guess

    Banned Users

Why haven’t we banned an obvious troll? Pathetic moderation honestly, letting trolling run rampant.

    Archboston revamp

Why haven’t we taken out the trash yet? Anyway I would support a move to SSC at this point, this unmoderated mess is a sad sight to see and it doesn’t seem like any substantive progress has been made since the beginning of the discussion months ago. When briv came back, we should have continued...

The curve has potential. The initial cladding is the definition of banal though.
