This ^ I'm not entirely too familiar with the new tour routes 100% since they made ISEC the terminus, but I know that they still go through Centennial Commons, so they still do see that NEU's campus does in fact have some green space.

People can't be unhappy about both the height of the building and also all of the college students in local apartment buildings. The whole point of this dorm is to get NEU out of its last remaining ~800 leased property bedspaces. And quite honestly, you can't do that unless you find another 800...

I'm pretty sure the admissions tours now end in the ISEC lobby as well ever since the pedestrian bridge opened. Definitely a perfect button for the tour to leave a lasting impression in students' minds before they leave campus for the day. I think that effect on recruiting will be even more...

I do think it's worth noting that going up top to the parking garage yesterday that the pedestrian activity on Columbus just seemed more active than in year's past. I think the LightView dorm certainly helped with that, all this NEU corridor of Columbus really needs is some commercial...

Foundation work still going on, I definitely think I underestimated the sheer scale of this project’s footprint until today.

They’ve cut out some of the tarps on the fence so people can take a peak at the construction.

A single station? Why would they go through all the effort of just putting one station on the map for the time being when they'll just have to add the rest by the end of the year anyways?

I do remember them promising they’d be in service by the end of 2020 at some point. Wouldn’t be the MBTA if “by the end of 2020” didn’t mean literally the second to last day of the year.

Nothing major, but they’re closing the stairs to the bridge temporarily for some sidewalk repairs according to NUPD. (also the first time I’ve heard anyone use the PedX name not in jest)

Some foundation work is beginning!

Northeastern hasn't really incorporated any red branding whatsoever in the whole ISEC/EXP/bridge side of campus, however. Even the Lightview apartment building was supposed to have a red stripe running down the side that never made the cut.

I have no clue why, but part of the makeshift ramp near ISEC was painted red.

Glad I'm not the only one who has watched the new OL trains go by from NEU's ISEC building.

The makeshift wooden ramp next to ISEC has been painted a light grey.
