I absolutely concur. The other day I walked by the old former Tower Records nearby, and what do you know, it's a Verizon store, blech. But in better news, the former Sprint store over at Brattle and Church is now a decent convenience store/salad-lunch bar.

Solidarity & visibilty. I'm sure it means something to the people of California that people all over the country are up in arms about the amendment, and the more people (nationwide) see protests in the streets and on the news...the more people will know about it. Protests here will not...

I miss the original exterior more and more each day. I'm hoping that part of the plan is to get that globe fountain across the way working again.

Is there another thread about this? One Broadway in Kendall has for the past several months been going through recladding the lower level, and general renovations of the sidewalk. I've never liked this building a lot, but I do think that the renovations make it more generic. Not a whole lot...
