Re: Driven By Customer 'Service' Parte Dos I've only seen it during morning rush hour on weekdays (when not operating on holiday schedule). Even then they're only there about 75% of the time.

Work continues on the two sites on Third Ave. Looks like the restaurants are approaching completion, they have started paving the lot. Curbs going in. The side facing 128. The larger site. Hard to see, but the building takes a turn and extends towards the hillside. The concrete...

I have spoken with the Athletics Director at BC - he's excited that Boston is in the mix for the Olympics and would like to see events on campus. Based on what I've heard, he will 'make it work' to have Olympic events using the facilities that work.

Walked by today - arcade completely disassembled - all that's left is the shell of the escalators.

Until a new steel frame is standing on the site, I believe nothing. Lipstick on a pig still helps.

And Boston, DC, New York, Baltimore, San Francisco don't suffer from that problem. Places like Phoenix and Charlotte do. Not surprised. Also not surprised that the bar for 'urban' is pretty low for Americans given what residential areas outside of New England look like.

Had a chance to see it in person this weekend, it will be a huge improvement and has a more modern feel than most anything else in the area. Will be a good 'welcome' for people coming in from the airport.

Thank goodness they're putting some money into improving this building.

Went and checked out the new harbor walkway at Lovejoy Wharf. Also went in and saw how crazy you can go with custom Chucks at the Converse store. Interesting offering.

Walked around Assembly Row, found where they were dumping the snow. Quite the pile still. Hydrant for reference. Note the soccer goal in the midst. Found the other goal! Free TV space-saver! First one to find it gets to keep it!
