Gables Seaport (née Waterside Place 1B) | 505 Congress Street | Seaport

When I worked in the World Trade Center East building in the early 2000s I would have loved retail on that street. I know the Seaport wasn't built up then but 711, Dunkins, and some small Lunch grab place(I forget the name)was basically all the retail there. Summertime was the highlight when the...

    Cambridge Crossing (NorthPoint) | East Cambridge/Charlestown | Cambridge/Boston

Tall dense also makes the most sense here cause it's in-between 2 different subway lines.

    Logan Airport Capital Projects

Coming back to Logan yesterday I never really realized the hold up times for getting passengers on the buses. We sat at terminal for a good wait time to get people on and off with their luggage. I took the shuttle but can only imagine that the SL must have a major issue on keeping on a schedule...

The Sudbury (Bulfinch Crossing Residential Tower) | 50 Sudbury St | GCG Phase I | Gov't Center

I use to use for names when I lived in the area was "park drive" or 235 park drive" and for people out of town I'd say "the Fenway." If you use the building name for where you live you sound snobbish or you want people to think you're important. The building has to be a landmark or iconic to...

The Ipswich | 2 Charlesgate West | Fenway

Disappointed that we didn't get the original or something close to it but like this proposal for the "affordable units" and really like the staircase and tie in to that park. I always felt like this area was disconnected from the rest of the area.

Marriott Moxy Hotel | 240 Tremont Street (Parcel P-7A) | Theater District

The theatre district should definitely have more of the electronic billboards to advertise all the entertainment in the district. As long as it doesn't become Times Square or Las Vegas it will fit into the Boston charm. Definitely in the other areas of Boston we should be giving incentives for...

Plan Nubian Square Parcel P-3 (née Tremont Crossing) | Roxbury

From Bee's pics the site doesn't even look like it's in a city.

    General Boston Discussion

If we built one at 1,000ft people would probably stop bitching about height. But if it was up to me I'd build one to 999ft just to annoy the height fetish people.

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

Not quite sure why but that gap between the office tower and the hotel really bothers me. Might of looked better if the hotel stretched all the way to the office tower.

Where's the APM??? Edit: Sorry read it wrong. Thought they dropped it and these were the only expansions.

    Crazy Transit Pitches

I know it probably would upset alot of communities but I wish the Fitchburg Line was straightened out more. If it was possible, which I'm assuming it's not, it would help cut down on the trip time from one end to the other. I still don't get why they built that new stop after Fitchburg. The trip...

    Crazy Transit Pitches

Anyone ever play the game "Mini Metro"?". It's a neat little game where you play with subways. Anyways I wish they had a mode where you could modify existing cities subways and try to better balance the systems.

Green Line Extension to Medford & Union Sq

Thanks. I can't wait to see just the subway one. I like the simple straight lines ones. Makes it clearer for just the subway.

Green Line Extension to Medford & Union Sq

Random question. Has anyone seen what the new maps will look like with the 2 green line extensions? I'm wondering if they'll move the north red slightly down and to the left.

General MBTA Topics (Multi Modal, Budget, MassDOT)

Completely agree with bigpicture7. They need to provide enough information so commuters can adjust their routes for what best works for their commute.

    Union Square D2.1 | 10 Prospect Street | Somerville

The green line trains in those renders look more like subway cars than light rail cars.

    Crazy Transit Pitches

Without cost being the factor. Could we build express tracks for red, orange, and blue in tunnels directly under each line. Obviously this would only really be needed if the lines got their extensions.

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

I guess the one good thing about the Verizon tower being so fat is that it makes the residential tower look that much skinnier.
