    Boston Parking Lots

Been working on this map when I'm bored. Its just for the City of Boston and doesn't include vacant lots or parking/storage for commercial cars (e.g. I don't include MBTA bus storage sites). Still have much left to work on (mostly WRox, Mattapan, Brighton/Allston, Eastie)...

I actually really enjoy those smaller glass boxes cascading. I think this wouldn't really make sense most places but next to the highway thats good

They really have to tweak the surrounding streets to make this field connected. Even with JFK right there, the massive unfriendly streets you have to cross make it feel much further.

Assembly Square Infill and Small Developments | Somerville

Based on Massbuilds data, as of now there have been 1592 units constructed in Assembly Row, and an addition 219 under construction. This doesn't include anything proposed and/or zoned for future use. With some units likely being >1 bedroom, you've got roughly 2,400 people living in Assembly...

The yellow and white is their response to make this more of a 'gateway'?? Like sure use cheap materials but this color combo is actually nasty.

    Roxbury Infill and Small Developments

"Board Chairwoman Christine Araujo voted for the project, but said she is concerned that Nubian Square is seeing a lot of development, with projects all saying they don't need anywhere near the parking required by zoning and that at some point, the area might be overwhelmed with cars and no...

I actually like the façade on both sides. I think both use nice to ways to add texture.

    Walpole Center Developments

I literally lived down the street from here carless, for many years. So... Also, I didn't say carless. I said I hope it isn't above a parking ratio of 1. Which means, 1 parking spot per unit.

    Walpole Center Developments

Happy to see more units coming near the commuter rail, and is a re-use of some commercial offices instead of tearing some more trees down. Not sure what the parking ratio is but I hope its not higher than 1. This is literally steps from the commuter rail and a 2 minute walk to a bus stop.

    Blue Line extension to Lynn

Think these infographics from MHP help the convo a little too. Several stations along the red line for example have lower units per acre. I wonder how the Multi-family for MBTA communities bill will affect cities and towns reactions to proposed extensions of heavy/light rail.
