Looks like those pictures might have been taken very early in the morning, but I am just guessing.

Photo of the Day, Boston Style: Part VII (2014)

Ya, it is from an apartment in 860 Harrison Ave, which is a residential building that is part of that complex. I want to take some picks with a real camera instead of a cell phone next time I am over there, but I think the graininess adds to the mood in this case.

Re: Green Line to Medford to start in 2011 Cancel all the meetings, fire all the consultants, stop the endless studies and just build the fucking thing.

GrandMarc Residence Hall (YMCA) @ Northeastern U | 291 St. Botolph Street | Fenway

Too bad it isn't all glass so that it would blend into the sky a little and not clash and detract from the Conservatory and the Y.

Charles River Skatepark | East Cambridge

Re: Charles River Skatepark When I am walking through Copley Square and a skate boarder is coming my direct, I just stay my course and they always fall on their ass rather than run into me. So go ahead and sit wherever you want to sit and walk wherever you want to walk. The skate boarders are...

Assembly Square Infill and Small Developments | Somerville

Sadly, I don't see how there is ever going to be that many people hanging around there. It is too small and isolated.

The Kensington | 665 Washington Street | Downtown

The materials on the lower floors look really cheap to me in person... like dinky strip mall cheap. The the section with the store fronts is too flat and lacks texture. However, the sign looks cool. I wouldn't really care if the tower was awful if the street level was good, but it isn't.

New Design Guidelines Planned for Boylston Streetscape

More trash cans would be nice... Sometimes I find myself walking for blocks and blocks carrying trash before finding somewhere to put it. You almost can't blame people for just throwing things on the ground. Of course I think people who do that are apes. Another problem is trash blowing off the...

Twenty Two Liberty @ Fan Pier | 22 Liberty Drive - Parcel C | Seaport

Re: Twenty Two Liberty @ Fan Pier | 22 Liberty Drive | Seaport I have to agree, the difference in height between the Hancock and Pru and the rest of Back Bay makes the skyline from Cambridge really distinctive and beautiful. I don't know why so many people are desperate to see it filled in...

Dorm Tower @ Emerson College | 1-3 Boylston Place | Downtown

Wow, it really is awful to tear down these buildings for a dorm. The blandification continues.

    Boston Nightlife

If it tells you ahead of time about the surge pricing and people are willing to pay, then I don't see the problem. If you think it's too expensive, don't use it. Channel 5 can get off their case. We need more alternatives for transportation.
