Re: Christian Science Church Center Renovation/ New Towers
Symphony Hall? Not that it matters. If nimby's want to complain, they'll complain. Not having a valid complaint has never stopped them.
Re: Residences at Kensington
I could overlook everything else if the street level were any good, but I think that is actually the worst part. That material does not belong anywhere near a first floor. It makes me sad how bad it is. There are strip malls in the suburbs that look nicer.
Re: Waterside Place
Yes, when I was packed on a overcrowded bus bumping along at 3mph through a leaking tunnel last Friday night I thought, I bet those Green Line riders in the Back Bay are so jelly right now.
Re: Waterside Place
Ew, they did that texture alternating every couple floors on purpose.
White would be good. It's a light grey, dirty looking cement color.
Re: 120 Kingston, 29 Story Tower in Chinatown
I think it could be. That picture was taken on Sunday though. I'm not sure what it looks like at rush hour.
Re: Lovejoy Wharf
Some people walking by said they were glad it was being torn down because it was ugly. : (
I thought it was the cooler looking of the two buildings.
Whoopsies?
Oh, I thought those buildings in the foreground were generally older than the skyscrapers in the background, making the skyscrapers "newer". I didn't know all those buildings were built at the same time. Thanks!
Re: New Brighton Landing | New Balance Complex
So if someone asked you to guess where "Boston Landing" was and you had no prior knowledge, this area would jump to mind because the Mass Pike "lands" in Boston there? I kind of doubt it. I would guess it was somewhere on the waterfront...
Re: Millennium Tower - Filene's
So are we supposed to assume that they are starting work on the tower too?
This is why I hope there is never a high spine with a bunch of tall buildings crowding out the Hancock. I already think 111 Huntington has taken away a lot of the Pru's impact.
