The orange line is excellent these days. It’s about up to par with subway lines in other countries as long as you ignore the degenerates smoking on subway platforms.

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Those steps being fenced off half the year are a great example of how people are treated like crap in this country compared to cars.

If you are working age in Boston(the people this city desperately needs) you are screwed, because so much of the housing being built with public money is for those who are retired or never had a job.

Franklin Park - White Stadium Renovation

There is so many dumb aspects of this plan. The insane cost. The city giving control to a private company. Building two stadiums in the area at the same time for what is a niche sport in America. Cutting down dozens of trees. Bringing tons of noise into the park and neighborhood. Expecting all...

The city of Boston is already paying for some bus routes to be free of charge. Start charging money for residential parking permits and stop having parking meters be free on Sundays. Start charging in the free city owned lots. Why does a neighborhood like JP have ZERO parking meters? That’s tens...

Copley Square Revamp | Back Bay

You are seriously arguing against block parties?! Especially on Halloween, the most dangerous night of the year for pedestrians? I can’t imagine you get invited to a lot of parties. Anything that takes Boston public land away from suburban drivers and gives them back to actual Bostonians gets my...

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

When I think of an active urban look I picture something with tons of people walking around, not a gross empty highway.

Yes, this is urban as hell in the best way. Reminds me of something you'd see in Tokyo.

    The New Retail Thread

Sad is a good word for it. I don't understand what would have to have gone wrong in my life to find myself drinking at a fast food restaurant, especially when there are tons of alternatives a short walk away.

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

900 parking spaces next to the busiest train and bus station in New England. This isn't a serious country.

Franklin Park - White Stadium Renovation

Get used to it being closed to the public once the city lets a private corporation decide who can use it.

Love to see obnoxious NIMBY's lose.

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

The new park is pretty nice. Its completely protected around the perimeter with bollards and bike racks so turd drivers will have to go elsewhere to run down pedestrians and park on the sidewalk. This needs to be the status quo around the city based on the amount of terrible drivers and useless...

Jamaica Plain Infill and Small Developments

If you want to call out NIMBY's Jamaica Plain is the wrong place to do it. The Pine Street Inn is constructing a 200 unit building that will be transitional housing for homeless people. The only person who objected to it was a landlord who doesn't even live in JP. Put a building like that pretty...

Jamaica Plain Infill and Small Developments

To be fair these 3 units replaced one single family home so it is an upgrade in terms of number of units. Every bit helps I suppose. If you walk down the hill 2 blocks to Washington Street there are a couple hundred new or under construction units. JP is doing its part to add to the housing stock.

What a ridiculous amount of time spent on this. Close that block of Dartmouth to cars already.

Franklin Park - White Stadium Renovation

I live near Franklin Park. I go there often. I was there this weekend, for instance. I don't buy that suburbanites are going to park near Mass and Cass to get on a shuttle to get to Franklin Park. I think a lot of them are going to drive to the stadium because they live in a suburban world where...

    Wind Turbines in Mass

I remember doing a report on Cape Wind in college in 2005. Almost 20 years later we finally have offshore wind.

1033-1055 Washington Street | South End

I'll take a plaza and a pedestrian access between two streets any day. This city needs more room for people because cars take up so much damn space. It also allows for more windows for building occupants.
