Portland, ME - New Construction Continued

I love it when common sense rules and NIMBY's get a good b@%#! slappin'. From what I've read the cold storage facility will be a good economic punch for the area.

Proto | 88 Ames St | Kendall Square | Cambridge

Re: Ames Street Residence | 88 Ames Str. - Kendall Sq. | Cambridge Isn't zoning for this location 300' for residential buildings? If so, that would have allowed for another 4 floors based off the current floor-to-ceiling height for residential levels in this building.

    Portland Bayside

Yeah, good find. We may want to dig deeper on this one because of its "height" (NIMBYISM) in relation to the surrounding area. Something like this would definitely bring up some type of opposition. Edit: 58 Boyd is listed on CWS Architects website too. No pictures. Info and pics here...

Portland, ME - New Construction Continued

I agree that the elevator / stair portion of this building should be moved to the back and that the facade should continue to the edge of 62 India Street. On another note, this proposal should appear on Emporis's Portland page by the end of the week...
