I got it, people out there love their views. But prohibiting a development that blocks part of your view I think is narrow sighted and selfish.

Does anyone know what the results were from the latest planning board meeting (JUL 15th)? I haven't seen anything yet in the Press Herald or in the Bangor Daily News. Hopefully the infill development on Carleton Street got the green light.

    New Ideas for the Site

Cambridge really needs it's own thread someplace - especially when the Volpe and the MIT projects start gaining some steam.

    ACKS | 100 Binney | East Cambridge

Looks like 100 Binney is going to be 181'2'' to the top of it's two mechanical floors. Check out page 19 in the link below: http://www.cambridgema.gov/~/media/Files/CDD/ZoningDevel/SpecialPermits/sp243/sp243_design_100binney_20150710.pdf Also, the 2015 update is 14 inches taller than the 2010...

    Manchester Infill & Small Developments

I'm really surprised that there isn't more large scale development going on in Manchester. The population is growing, a lot of magazines rate it high on the tax friendly and livability scale and the local economy appears to be solid. It just seems to me that this town could use a few more...

Portland, ME - New Construction Continued

Patrick must be going nuts over this! I'd like to hear his unofficial views on all of this. Should we start making bets as to whether or not that Midtown gets built at all? I think in it's current plan / form it's friggin' hideous.

17 Carleton St looks like some nice infill for the area. Does anyone know if the addition to St. Lawrence Arts Center has begun yet and if there has been any progress on the Wharf street project (the one that had the design competition)?

    Manchester Infill & Small Developments

Thanks for the update! I'll take any NH news! I think Manchester might still be there though - SETI picked up some faint signals from that area a few months ago. Boston and Portland AB forumers may not be alone!

Adding to Dr. Strangehat's post, a more recent article including 85 Anderson Street: http://www.pressherald.com/2015/05/27/three-projects-to-bring-more-condos-apartments-offices-to-portlands-east-end/ Apparently these will be starting in 2 months or less.

Avalon North Station | Nashua Street Residences | West End

I think it will be around 440'. After looking at page 65, figure 4-4 of the document "Notice of Project Change" (http://www.bostonredevelopmentauthority.org/getattachment/6f71d748-3df9-4501-981d-6464e46359ad) and doing some simple math, that is what I figured it to be.
