Are there renders anywhere for what the expansion will look like?

AvalonBay Tower (Jacob Wirth's) | 45 Stuart Street | Downtown

I didn't realize that Boston was on The Grid

    Berkshire Rail Service Restoration

I was surprised how little BLX got discussed last year as part of the big push for additional transportation funding. I feel like if the Governor had been smarter, he would have had that be on of the big investments - pretty great way to get the Senator McGee (Transportation Chair - D - Lynn) on...

    Crazy Transit Pitches

If and when I become a billionaire, I'm going to maneuver my way into control of state politics, make a personal donation to MassDOT and the MBTA, and give F-Line to reins.

[ARCHIVED] Harbor Garage Redevelopment | 70 East India Row | Waterfront | Downtown

Re: The Boston Arch (Aquarium parking garage) One thing I am confused by - the way I see it, the view the towers have is out toward the harbor (makes sense given the name). These towers would be next door, blocking what? A view of Chelsea?

    Sidewalk Tactile Strips

I say if they want it to be historically accurate, don't let cars anywhere on the hill either - or sewer and electricity for that matter.

    Boston 2024

No matter what else comes out of this, I am sooooooooooooo excited to pour over all of the plans.

    Boston 2024

I feel like if Boston doesn't get 2024, it won't submit another bid. I'm a huge supporter of this effort, but I feel like there isn't enough real oomph behind it, and if we don't get selected for this one, I don't see there being anything left in the tank to do it again for 2028.

    Brookline Infill and Small Developments

Not the use I would have picked for such an iconic building, but at least it's not just a bank. Does anyone know if these cafe/banks keep longer hours than regular banks?

New England Revolution Stadium | 173 Alford Street | Boston-Everett

Re: Somerville Soccer Stadium The argument that soccer can't do as well in Boston because the EPL exists is ridiculous. I know a ton of die hard Premiere League fans that would kill for the Revs to have a stadium on transit near the city. Liking the EPL doesn't mean you wouldn't also go to...

Ride & Car Sharing: Uber, Lyft, Sidecar, Zipcar, Relay Rides

I use UberTaxi for regular taxis because then I don't have to try and figure out if the taxi approaching me has a fare already or not, I don't need to compete with a lot of other people in the same spot trying to get a cab, and I know they won't give me a hard time about using my card. My...

Ride & Car Sharing: Uber, Lyft, Sidecar, Zipcar, Relay Rides

That's not always the case. I don't use UberX, but I do use UberTaxi, and I'd say 1 out of every 10 times I request a taxi, I'll get a call asking where I am going, then when the driver hangs up, they cancel the ride. I'd say this is the only way UberTaxi isn't as good as a cab. When I hail a...

    Boston 2024

Absolutely. Nowhere does it say the plan has to be some ridiculous, all brand-new fancy stuff. Are there a few things you can't avoid needing to build new? Yes, but we don't need to completely ignore the decades long wish list for both transportation and housing that we have in the region to...

    Boston 2024

I think those interchange projects would be more in the $200 or $300 million range. At least one is scheduled to be fixed (I think Woburn) in the not too distant future. Pretty sure its on the Boston MPO TIP

    Rose Kennedy Greenway

That photo should be the Greenway's main marketing material. Green oasis in the midst of a bustling city, with tons of different uses all happening at once.

    Commonwealth Avenue Improvement Project

I think it's a waste to line the B line with trees. We don't need to hide the train.
