Downtown Greenway and Waterfront District Zoning

Pretty pretty please can we rebuild these two structures? Making the Fort Point Channel a unique space should be focused as much on activting the channel itself as the area along the edge.

Regional Rail (RUR) & North-South Rail Link (NSRL)

Re: North-South Rail Link The bond bill includes a couple million dollars to update the Draft Environmental Impact Report for the right of way for NSRL. It basically ensures that if a few billion were to fall from the heavens, and we decided we didn't want to spend it on other projects, this...

    Crazy Transit Pitches

I always thought Tremont along the Common would be a great spot for this, form Park Street to Boylston. You have the 43, 55, and SL5 that all run that same stretch.

    Downtown Crossing/Financial District | Discussion

I'd love to see the DTX pedestrian zone expanded to included Temple Place, while allowing for the Silver Line to keep operating there. Temple Place has some great food options, and I think a ped zone with some nice big outdoor seating areas would do wonders.

    Gov't Center Station Rebuild

Great image of an old sign uncovered as part of the demolition work. Sounds like they are going to try and keep it as they rebuild. http://www.universalhub.com/2014/dunkin-donuts-reduced-pile-rubble I wish the t would bring back this aesthetic system-wide.

I-90 Interchange Improvement Project & West Station | Allston

Re: I-90 Interchange Improvement Project (Allston) Can you elaborate as to why? Do they just not like left-hand ramps? As long as they are well-signed, I've never had a problem using them elsewhere.

Public Food Market | 136 Blackstone Street | Haymarket | Downtown

Re: Public Food Market Mercato Central in Florence isn't much to look at, either inside or outside, but I still love the feel of its interior. Busy, packed with people, tons of options.

    Gov't Center Station Rebuild

Articles like this drive me INSANE. http://bostinno.streetwise.co/2014/03/18/mbta-government-center-station-construction-schedule-1/ Five people died building the Empire State Building, so I guess we should push the schedule to 6 months and then not complain if we lose a couple of workers. I...

    T Station Design

I think I want this more than the Urban Ring. I want you to be able to look around and automatically know "Oh, that's a T station" just by the design. I knowwwwwwww there's better things for good money to be spent on, but a guy can dream that some day the T will have enough money to take things...

    T Station Design

An interesting article on the branding of transit. http://www.theatlanticcities.com/commute/2014/03/how-design-can-help-build-transit-culture/8633/ I'd love to see the T get some consistency across the system - not necessarily in terms of design within the station, but for the headhouses. If I...
