Seaport Sq. Block N | 350 Summer Street | Seaport

Lots of activity at the site. I believe they are building the foundations and u/g parking for both 350 and 400 summer st at the same time. Think both buildings will have entrances on both congress (low) and summer (high) streets. The amazon building is starting to rise, it seems most if not...

Eli Lilly IGM | 15 Necco Street | Fort Point

After so much weak, uninspired design becoming the norm for so many years no one has a sense of quality anymore so this is the type of hopelessly imbalanced, Terribly ugly building that everyone expects even in a prime waterfront location.

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

They appear to be marking the new ends of the tracks going into south station

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

It sounds like they have to put in pilings similar to those at Winthrop square with all the muck. There won't be an underground parking structure so less work overall, but it is hard to imagine how they do this without a giant muddy pit and lots of big machine right in the middle of South...

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

A little gesture from the developers like some funding for needed maintenance to the commuter rail would go a long way toward making this more palatble. A free coffee stand in SS would be welcome, too!

    Cambridge Crossing (NorthPoint) | East Cambridge/Charlestown | Cambridge/Boston

It would be nice to have a ped lane protected from bikes and microtranport. too bad there is so little support for dedicated bus lanes. So many more people use them than bikes.

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

As a non engineer/architect will any new footings or foundation’s he needed for the four load bearing elements or are they already there? I can’t imagine how they will do slurry walls and footings without disrupting commuter rail which is extremely fragile already.

[ARCHIVED] Harbor Garage Redevelopment | 70 East India Row | Waterfront | Downtown

^^^Agree with Scott. Rowes Wharf is nice but it feels very exclusive with little for the public to do besides look and scuttle through. While the arch is cool the view area through it is small. A taller building with a bigger opening between the street and sea and more for the average...

Hurley Building Redevelopment | 19 Staniford St | West End

“ Hurley Building, a structure intended to celebrate the power of government to improve people’s lives? Will it be designed by an architect with an interest in creating unique, dignified, and engaging spaces,” the problem with the Hurley building is that while it may have been conceived to...

Design a Better Fort Point Channel

Water front property even on FPC is more valuable. No developer wants to lose the water. It will eventually be surrounded by developments.

Hurley Building Redevelopment | 19 Staniford St | West End

When architecture fails its intended users or its site it is little more than art - good or bad Boston has monstrous pieces of art here and at city hall both of which would be fine in a museum. Unfortunately a museum does not exist for such objects so they should be destroyed and replaced with...

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

While I like the building and project, I think the disruption to mass transit is going to be huge, painful and last years. Not good for the city's economy or QOL. It would be better to build something like this in the old Wang building area. Using the existing pilings, South Station could use...

Gables Seaport (née Waterside Place 1B) | 505 Congress Street | Seaport

Is the overhang jutting out over Causeway St. at the junction between the podium and tower a permanaent feature?

The Sudbury (Bulfinch Crossing Residential Tower) | 50 Sudbury St | GCG Phase I | Gov't Center

This building is far better than the Kensington and, while unlikely to win any awards, the facade has plenty of depth and relief. It's a great addition to this part of the city and a major improvement over what was there before. Sometimes I think people comment without actually seeing the...

How would you describe/characterize the current build cycle??

The city has grown a lot. While some politicians and others in power cling to a small mindset there are signs that Boston is creeping toward embracing a more important position in the world.
