    The platform is U/C as 4 Type 7/8 cars long. But none of this will matter since the new GL cars will be 2/225’ and so the extensions to 300’ will never make sense

    The EIS, which came out 1 decade before the current round of bids, is highly unlikely to have relevant cost breakdowns. The bid documents do not have a cost breakdown in the (public) technical specifications, but maybe the price scoring is FOIA-able

    Almost- the branch to the right will go nowhere for now. It’s pointed towards the yard, but the current designs connect the yard tracks to the Medford branch via a fly under.

    Drainage and retaining wall work (plus normal rail replacement) but I don’t recall any upgrades to it being discussed. But since speeds are already limited by geometry, not much that can be done. Outside the work zone itself, they are using weekend shutdowns to install PTC

    Out of 2,300 total spaces, roughly 1,100 will remain. All of the garage over Congress and towards Haymarket will be demolished, but the section between the u/c residential and u/c office buildings will remain (and be slightly expanded into the first floors of the office tower.

    No. Rideshare is the outright majority of off-peak trips and isn’t affected by parking, and time of day data doesn’t show higher SOV utilization in the evening vs midday, when the commercial parking is still utilized.

    Whatever your feelings on commercial parking are, it's not responsible for the drive modeshare. Seaport office commute modeshares are ~20% drive alone, which is pretty great. It's off-peak trips dominated by rideshare that are the major problem, which IMO is good reason to look at improving SL...
