That is actually a perfect location. It's owned by Mass DOT. Nobody would ever want to build there. It empties onto kneeland st. The only neighbors have a freeway between them and the helos. Fuck it, pave the sucker this spring and call it a day.

IIRC the limiting factor for those sites would be the laws that restrict new shadows on the common and the public garden. They could be decently tall, but I doubt they would be 600 feet.

Isn't the plan to put an equivalent number of spaces underground at this site? So there would still be Aquarium parking, but just underground? It would work well with an office tower too since office traffic and aquarium traffic won't conflict that much.
