Huh? 😳 There are no cars driving on the stairs, and this is a pedestrian only area. Don’t get your logic. Maybe it is more of an example of being a poorly maintained and well run city vs. one that is well run. That entire area needs rescuing, but few people seem to care much about the situation.

Although the building is mildly interesting, won’t it block the view of the old Hancock building from that side? It is really pretty much blocked from the other side by 500 Boylston and 222 Berkeley. That is the type of older architecture I love and is in short supply in Boston.

Nice shots! I think they really reflect how the lack of imaginative architecture really makes our skyline quite kind of lacking though. Many missed opportunities.

Exchange Place, Atlantic Wharf, 75 High Street, Intercontinental Hotel, 200 State Street, Bullfinch Place and South Station Tower. Yep, not much all glass in that area. 🤣
