Geekville, a new neighborhood for Boston

Do you think Vancouver Model could work in Seaport Square and the rest of the unfilled parcels of the Seaport, save for Fan Pier, which I am praying they knock down One Marina Park Drive and the Federal Courthouse, and resurrect the original plans from the late 1980s, with a nice little canal...

    Future Luxury Hotels in Boston

Well, Boston's expanding. I'm not suggesting we saturate the city with luxury hotels, but just add some. Besides, I'm pretty sure that these hotels will probably be opened 5 or 6 years from now. The Plaza is just in the early stages of expanding outside New York, Jumeirah won't be coming to...

    Louis Boston Newbury Street

If putting an ultra-thin skyscraper in the building can't work, maybe we can pick the building up, move it to where the parking lot on Newbury Street is, and build a skyscraper. Other than that, I believe this can be done properly if you have the right architect and the right planner.

    Louis Boston Newbury Street

It would be something very daring. Think of the interesting juxtaposition. And I'm not thinking of a big glass box, I'm thinking of something along the Vancouver model, with mostly residential.

    Louis Boston Newbury Street

How does this sound for a good idea? Take the Louis Boston Building on Newbury Street gut the interior and construct a tall, slim skyscraper, similar to the ones found in Vancouver, preserving the original building, ala Hearst Tower in New York City. Here are some pics to show my point Louis...

Worst New Development Completed in 2009

I wonder if the Clarendon would look better if Frank Gehry redesigned the exterior, similar to his original design of Beekman Tower, before he slightly revised it. Here's an image:

Fixing the Greenway? What it should have been

I love it. Think Daniel Libeskinds museum and the Boston Museum designed by Moishe Safdie would work well into your plan, if they were revived?
