To be honest, I'm just happy they didn't strip out any character and replace it with generic storefront. DTX is great if you look up, but at the gound level it's been renovated into bland.

Agreed. This is well into the Marine Park (across from the drydock where all kinds of crazy sandblasting and stuff happens) and seems totally appropriate for that location. The name is silly, but what name isn't silly?

For me the big failure is the public realm. This is a super wide street, it would have been great to see some good sidewalks and the addition of street trees. That would have gone a huge way to improving this corridor.
