Very nicely summarized. I'll add that we are seeing a lot of the same architects over and over again in these neighborhoods. I suspect a lot of them are working on a razor thin margin to get the jobs. And they just can't put any work into the projects--so everything is a bit cookie cutter...

Not at all. Industrial era bridges are great and lots of people like them. It's awful that the city doesn't bother with maintenance of anything. So we are loosing our last two cool bridges that show Boston's industrial past. For new concrete highway bridges. Concrete bridges just don't hold up...

Interesting. I love the "what we heard" section. I can't believe no one said "it's too tall and too dense." I think it's proposed as too similar to the @200' buildings at NB. More variety in height would be welcome.

Re: 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District Pretty sure it's a pending City of Boston Landmark so it would be very difficult to tear down. There are a lot of people in town who really like that building.

They certainly do on buses with that option--I see this as a huge improvement for people with strollers and wheelchairs. Even off peak bikes or luggage.

It's probably DPW, not the BPDA. And just because there are plans doesn't mean they are public. Sigh.
