This facade looks like the walls of my unfinished basement....ugly grey with a random splash of white paint on one wall. Ugly.

Re: Russia Wharf Sure, it may be a bit squat, but its way more attractive than nearly every building in Boston. Nothing in the financial district really holds a candle to it.

I just don't get why we are building brick boxes in the year 2009....This thing looks more like a 1909 building...

It looks a little better now that its a little more completed, but still it just reeks of mediocrity. Perhaps it won't be so bad once the rest of the water front is developed.

wow. so there can be good supermodern towers...that one is lovely. One of the best "big proposals", better than the freedom tower and even the chicago spire.

The reflection in the hancock looks like a short black building! I was going to say, what the hell is that building haha. Love the shot off of fenway towards the pru, thats a great picture oppurtunity. A lot of the buildings in boston, especially the raddison, should go back to the soviet union...

The other one looks like a cheese grater....this kind of architecture isn't "innovative", its too "out of left field", unattractive, and basically sends a message:"hey, we suck, so we build phallic...

Re: New BU Tower In 2050 when this tower is surrounded by 25 story terra cotta/glass stumps it will look great. Right now it looks good but kinda lonely.
