Why are they planning the route through East Cambridge as street-running instead of along the Grand Junction ROW?

Not sure if anyone has already asked this, but does anyone know what the ruins on this site used to be?

Does anyone know when the extension will start to appear on maps? I remember the Assembly stop was shown as "Opening Fall 2014" or something while it was under construction. Will they show the extension as under construction on maps before it opens, I wonder?

This is Greater New England but does anyone know what happened to Providence's Downtown Transit Connector? I know it was under construction as of last year, but I haven't been down to Providence recently and it was supposed to be completed "in 2020."

Does anyone know why they're tearing up the tracks on the disused ROW next to the Sullivan Station Orange Line tracks? A little bit of me hopes its for BRT or something sometime in the future...

These comparisons are getting less and less impressive

And the irony is Cambridge's alleged commitment to "smart urbanism"

I wish they would commit to building an actual street grid with dense blocks instead of identical little office towers plopped in identical tiny parks. Also, not to be that guy but they could do so much better with height here.

Really impressive building It has some of that confidence that Boston misses from the 1920s skyscrapers.

Does anyone think this looks a little too much like the Winston Towers in Arlington?
