I'm not sure if the back bay station tunnel and the street level entrance to Copley Place are on the same timeline. I work at the existing Copley Place office towers and we were told that the street level entrance would be open by sept/oct.

salt pile is never going away. The city agreed to let them expand in exchange for a park next to the pile. I would say, how likely is it for the gas tanks and airport parking to go away? Parking & rental companies want to expand.

I couldnt agree more with your statement, but at the end of the day it could be alot worse. It could still be an old ugly warehouse with a pile of dirt next to it. I do wish that the project had more of a Assembly row style to it; i hope the city approves a better design on the old Chelsea...

My employer; I work in the building.

I got a letter stating that the Main Entrance with the long escalators will close down next Wednesday, Feb 22nd 2015, as well as the Orange line Underground tunnel. Time of closure will be 6-9 months. Everyone is encouraged to use the entrance by Au Bon Pain.
