Raffles Boston (40 Trinity Place) | 426 Stuart Street | Back Bay

Y'all need to calma. Just google image search "Raffles Boston" and you see the roof slopes at an angle like MT and you don't see that visible part that is being cladded now.

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

With Winthrop and State Street finishing up, I think this and parcel 12 will be stealing our attention for the next year or two.

The Smith | 660 Harrison Avenue | South End

Whoa, this thing was barely out of the ground 5 months ago. And it is a big boy, too.

    128 Spring Street | Everett

Could someone explain to me why or how Everett seems to have the gas pedal to the floor on developing residential housing? And that is coming after the casino, etc. They really just seem to be a step ahead of everyone else in getting things moving. Everett used to be a punch line for a joke...

Lyrik Back Bay | 1001 Boylston Street (Parcel 12) | Back Bay

No idea that the rapper Rick Ross had a street named after him near Fenway.

Lyra (née The Huntington) | 252/258/264 Huntington Avenue | Fenway

So, is it "safe" to say this one (tower + theater) is underway?

Bulfinch Crossing | Congress Street Garage | West End

How can they get is so right with the State Street tower and the condo building and lay up this heap?

Shreve, Crump & Low Redevelopment | 334-364 Boylston Street | Back Bay

Actually, they are completely different firms. Both are partnerships, but not the same firm. They do very different things. Bain consultants spun out to form Bain Capital. Bain Capital is one of he world's largest private equity firms, investing billions of dollars in to companies. Bain...

Power House | 108 3rd Avenue | Charlestown Navy Yard

How much asbestos, lead paint, mold, etc., contamination is in that building?

1270 Commonwealth Avenue (Old CVS Site) | Allston

I think everyone here lived within a half mile of this lot at some point. This was my go-to CVS as well, mainly because they had that massive parking lot. You could also cut through there if there was traffic, too.

74M (EDGE Assembly Sq.) | 74 Middlesex Ave | Somerville

@DZH22 - I think we were debating in another thread about low and wide labs and your lamenting the lack of height in lab buildings. Looks like you got your wish!!

EXP | 795 Columbus Avenue | Northeastern University

So if you work in a space in one of the curved corners where the metal cladding gets wide, the light is only coming in an narrow slits. Isn't that going to seem dark and prison-like, especially on the North side of the building?

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

When do we think tower steel will be visible....asking for a friend.

Assembly Innovation Park | 5 Middlesex Ave | Somerville

I am with you, more Blackfans are needed, but you bring up the tallest lab building in the city. The Ames example at 280' is actually only a few floors (assuming 15' per floor) taller than this one. Developer might think this area is still a little speculative (lol) and went wider vs taller.

Raffles Boston (40 Trinity Place) | 426 Stuart Street | Back Bay

I feel like this Raffles project thread is like the Bermuda Triangle of aB. It is a weird place.

Assembly Innovation Park | 5 Middlesex Ave | Somerville

Isn't this a lab building? Can't really go much taller.

Raffles Boston (40 Trinity Place) | 426 Stuart Street | Back Bay

Raffles and the Westin Copley are about a block away from each other but look like half a mile in that photo.

Echelon Seaport | 133-135 Seaport Blvd | Seaport

I like the chairs, as the cushions are a nice touch. However, they sort of look upscale suburban, like they were stolen off of a back patio in Wellesley or something, rather than modern and urban, like this development.

    17 Farnsworth | Seaport

I like it actually, looks like something I would see in Hoxton or Shoreditch. It is nothing special, but this is better than the Whoop building.

The Vale Boston (Kraft Foods Redevelopment) | Woburn

I bet they remediated the heck out of the area, but after decades of jello, and tanning and chemicals before that - after that Civil Action movie, I would never live in that part of Woburn.
