Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

Multiple concrete trucks lined up on Dalton street, is there a large pour scheduled for today, or is this just what is common place with how much concrete is going to be used for this building?

South Boston Infill and Small Developments

Crazy! I love that the car lot site has been re-developed, place was abysmal. I would always stand right in front of Liberty for the St. Patty's Day parade every year for as long as I can remember.

The Lucas | 136 Shawmut Ave | South End

I know the conversation has occurred multiple times for this project, but something about it is growing one me as it develops. I've been seeing the progress slowly happening. I guess the excitement is more about how well this type of restoration is going to be executed.

Hope Point Tower (Fane) | 250 Dyer Street | Providence

My biggest fear with this development is just how dead this section of the city really is. I know this is an area that will be developed over the next 10 years or so, but this area is really quite barron otherwise. Between where Point Street Bar is and then the area where G-Pub is there isn't...

Hope Point Tower (Fane) | 250 Dyer Street | Providence

Yea that website couldn't get much worse then it is. The big thing that struck me was the odd font they chose for the header of the homepage. I believe Jason Fane is the founder of the 45 Charles Ltd. stakeholder/developer of the site.

The Boulevard (née The Times/Littlest Bar) | 110 Broad St | Downtown

I noticed them boxing out the brick towards the end of last week, is this just a precautionary measure to protect the brick edge?

    MBTA Construction Projects

Re: T construction news Was just on the red line north on my way to work and noticed the bridge just south of Savin hill T stop that theyve been working on has been sealed off. I remember seeing the question here awhile back about repair or remove. Guess there no need for it anymore after all.

MassDOT Pike Parcels 12 - 15 | Boylston St. and Mass. Ave | Back Bay

With a count of four levels of parking, combined with the Dalton garage, how much parking are we realistically looking at for this block??

    The New Retail Thread

Not to totally derail, but Luke's Lobster in DTX had its official grand opening today at noon! Walked by in my lunch walk today. Didn't go in for lunch but will definitely be trying it out shortly

Plan Nubian Square Parcel P-3 (née Tremont Crossing) | Roxbury

In a way, yes, this building would be an island of development. That's until this corridor becomes the new hot bed for development. Right up the street we have the new, multi-phased development going in at Roxbury crossing. As someone who went to school at wentworth and knew the running joke of...

    Trans National Charlesgate West Condos/Apartments

Actually a thread for this project was started a week or so ago. And argued to death already. Check page 2 of the developments "2 Charlesgate West"

Why Boston rents are so high.

I feel like urban markets are completely different than the suburban market. I agree that the suburban market is better suited to add an additional bedroom for added value (with less spent), but with the urban market of Boston the price gap between a studio or 1 bedroom to a 2/3 bedroom does not...

    MA Casino Developments

I'm guessing from the article Steelman hasn't produced any new renderings yet? the one at the head of this article still shows the previous architects rendering that the tribe said did not have enough interior "wow effect". almost 30 million in design fees has got to be a killer...

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Re: 111 Federal St. | Formerly Trans National Place (Winthrop Square) Part 2 I'm interested in the FAA restrictions as well. Depending on this it seems like an easy decision to upgrade Logan, but I also feel like certain groups in the city would want to limit money spent there and make sure no...

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

Re: The Boston Garden (TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End So I understand the desire this building be a beacon for the area and you're right, Boston deserves perfection. What is stopping the project from back tracking back to the design that was approved by the BRA? Is the...

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

Re: The Boston Garden (TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End "the main entrance which is visually an extension of Canal Street but is narrower and results in a noticeably unimpressive public entrance to a major civic structure." Seriously? For a building that has its entrances...
