    Does anyone know if they are building with future OL conversion in mind? The Needham line by Millenium Park is fortunately grade separated, but unfortunately single-tracked. It'd be a shame if they build CR platforms that weren't also compatible with a double-tracked, third-rail-powered OLX.

    You mean Orange -> Blue -> Shuttle? 🙂 The power of SL1 and the hypothetical SL0 is that they will bring you right to your terminal. Transfers are extra brutal when you're lugging around suitcases.

    Without any data to back this up, I'd wager that Hartford, Worcester, Springfield, etc building up and becoming more vibrant would make them more attractive to young professionals and help relax the huge demand on Boston housing.

    Even as someone who bikes in Somerville a lot... does anyone know what warrants two two-way cycletracks, rather than one two-way or two one-way tracks? I would rather one of those tracks and some green space be traded in for median bus lanes.
