    The New Retail Thread

Ahhh.... ah ha, okay, my apologies Ron. The Prada concept of a retail location showcasing all that the brand has to offer in grand display is basically a flagship store. So, having said that, Prada has been scouting Boston for a location for over a decade and may have finally found their...

Oakley, The new Gucci boutique will carry the same assortment as the current Copley location. The space may be slightly different in size, however only back of house will feel the sq ft changes. The store itself will be far different, showcasing the new look of Gucci, if you're familiar with...

    The New Retail Thread

Ed Hardy is actually moderately priced in comparison to the high end labels... It has quite the following with youth, club goers, and those in the entertainment and "flash" industries. They should do well enough IMO. I do miss the Army Navy store along with Allston Beat, and the store that...

    Downtown Crossing/Financial District | Discussion

I guess Im back again, lol Thank you for the comments everyone? My relief does not only stem from the fact that there are obviously others that can identify some of the issues that I mentioned, but that there is a pattern of evidence for that mentioned. In no way did I imply that violence...

    Downtown Crossing/Financial District | Discussion

Every time I inadvertently re-strengthen my faith in this physically beautiful city, I am convinced to rid it once again. So ignorant are some comments made on this site, I rarely contribute to a forum that I?ve been following since the days of Boston Skyscraper Guy. hiFor me, at times, this...

    Big Dig Tunnels go unused.

"That system was built looking towards the future, not the present," said Mac Daniel, spokesman for the Turnpike. "We acknowledge the lanes aren't being used as much as they could." But for now it's a quarter-billion-dollar engineering curiosity - a lonely carpool lane used largely by buses...

    Rose Kennedy Greenway

Greenway I love them, adds a very modern appeal and characteristic to the Greenway. If you ever visit, that may be something you capture in photos. Gives it more identity IMO.

    Millennium Tower (Filene's) | 426 Washington Street | Downtown

A grand hotel of our own.. I think it's great that this development is receiving such a positive response in an area once ignored. I recently stayed at the Marriott on the East Side across from the Waldorf in Manhattan and it was amazing. Although I like the Marriott, I would love to see a...

    Chinatown - Progress or Gentrification?

I have followed this forum since its beginning and was a fan of Boston skyscraper guy as well. I have not done much "notable" in terms of contribution, but still like to review all the cool topics. I wonder why some seem to feel there is absolutely nothing wrong with what's going on in...

    Millennium Tower (Filene's) | 426 Washington Street | Downtown

GREEDY DEVELOPERS!!! I love the additional housing to the Downtown Crossing area so long as these new residence don't become the very demise of the area's future development. The building is so-so, but IMO would've been a lot better if that side across from TJ Max was handled with more care...
