They removed glass from those sections to add the portholes for loading long and oversized materials into the client's space (which don't fit on either of the construction lifts). They crane most of that in on weekends and weekday afternoons.

    Park 151 | 151 N First Street | Cambridge Crossing | East Cambridge

Agreed. The perspective from the other side of the street will (likely) allow a partial views of Lots B & C, a spritz of V's split pieces, and some bits of R1+R2 combination lot to break up the scene, as well.

@HarvardP : They might clean Lot H's windows the same way they have cleaned Lot JK's windows this week - two (assignable) davit arms holding one gent with kit in an attached pack. They're doing it right now, in fact. JK doesn't have a roof car suspension system (I don't know if H will), and I...

@BeeLine : Thanks for the great shots. Although I live here, I appreciate seeing how comfortable this area has become through someone else's eyes (I bought the year before Lot N became Twenty|20). With somewhere between 150 - 200 images that I couldn't make time to cull, edit, load, and...

Cambridge Crossing Parcel EF | 250 Dawes Street | Cambridge/Somerville

Those are supposed to resemble a wave. And they are taking forever! Regarding Lot EF: with the exception of the (slightly crenulated) south pod, most of that glass went up on Thursday and Friday. I walk/run there all of the time and work has been very slow after a dash to where they were just...

Hey, Jeff, My spouse and I lived in PC for a number of years and saying that CX feels like PC is a bit of a stretch ... while some could argue that CX's lab/corporate components represent a smaller version of PC's PC Mall, Costco, etc, CX has no intention of (and no plan for) littering the area...

I will present more images soon highlighting visual updates to the area. One item of note: Tatte was announced, and will open soon (likely around March - April). Interior construction at 222 Jacobs ST (Lot JK) has been fairly obvious since November. Also, construction on Lot U will begin on 1...

Thanks, @Rover . I have lived here for almost eight years. During that time, most folks didn't have a clue who owned the development, what was a part of it, what was planned, and what was "coming soon!" until DivCo added transparency to the mix. Regarding height ... there are a few folks in CX...

We lost one crane recently (Lot H), but yes: we've still got a bunch!

All, I don't have an image yet, but some of the south facing windows on Lot H are already in place, abutting the Gilmore Bridge (much earlier in the process than JK and G saw their first glazing).

Correct. That perspective is roughly eastward, between East and North 1st Streets, of the Lot Q1/bus stop. The elevator/stair assembly for the northern Lechmere station also is visible (cinderblock).

Yep: 250ft to the top of the mechanical screen (13ft taller than Twenty|20) plus a fire monopole (18ft).

Lots JK, EF, G, & H / 3 December 2020 Blackout shades needed. The park, as illuminated by the projects therein. Not shown: workers installed Lot EF's lamps through levels 2/3. Also, please note the second band of cladding at the northwest corner of Lot G: going to be thicc up there. Alright...

(Split, and continued, from previous post so as not to muck up page formatting.) Lot H / 21 November 2020 Crane jump / Topping off! There is a banner, whose message eluded me since it never pointed north, and a tree! (Keep in mind they will move that banner over the coming 10 days ... and it's...

Apologies for my updates delay. Site images/text below... Lots G & H / 30 October 2020 Obligatory snow image. Looking spiffy. Yes, Lot H's first tower crane is comically low. By the time it jumped, in the second half of November, the steel was nearly complete (level 12) and at cab level (level...

Lot I / 27 November - 2 December 2020 Workers are removing the bathtub support struts below grade (no vertical progress yet). There have been several late concrete pours. Building on my previous image, the team built a kaka house, hiding 5 or 6 Johnnies from the upcoming winter weather. It is...
