Lot I / 20 October 2020 Looking north beyond Lot W (housing the now open Cafe Beatrice). Crane segments began arriving around lunch and the installers worked until 1800. These dudes were rockin' the view from ~33m.

The crane jumped on 18 October ... That's a tall bird for this neighborhood.

Quick update: Lot I's tower crane components are being delivered today. Too bad I can't upload time lapses: I shoot a lot of them of our CX construction and the crane construction ones are spifftastic. The building's core reaches to (above grade) level 13. I will post static images later.

Cafe Beatrice soft opened this AM ... That marks the end of a 12 year dry spell of no retail in CX: let there be eatz!

Lot I / 16 October 2020 The core is at the eleventh floor. As a refresher: This building will include 21 usable floors, be 250-ft tall at the top of the mechanical screen, and include an 18-ft fire monopole. For reference, the screen height is 13-ft taller than Twenty|20's screen pinnacle.

Zoned principally for retail (as well as DivCo provided commuting amenities). DivCo confirmed that as recently as two weeks ago on our call, but they didn't confirm which tenants would occupy the space.

We had quite a few Philips folks here already when the building opened in January (and subsequently closed in March). Given the new partners identified (Sanofi-Aventis, BMS, Will Gilson's three restaurants) and, as yet, unrevealed (Lots EF, Q1, & U), there is the potential for lots of activity...

Pricing depends on level, but units begin at ~$3.6 million and ascend from there. There is some price compression among the three and four bedroom units, so I don't know if they breach eight figures for a four bedroom at the top. I wasn't looking at those.

Condo deliveries aren't until late 1Q2021. The apartments will be delivered earlier than the eleven floors of condos, since most of the latter are in various states of completion. For example, the units I'm looking at on the upper floors are only roughed out with connections, but have no hvac...
