Does anyone here have a good email to send complaints/concerns about the paths to at DCR? I’m complaining about the tree roots just east of the BU boathouse, they’ve really warped the pavement in one stretch.

Multi-Family Zoning Requirements for MBTA Communities

They should have followed CA’s lead and included a “builders remedy” that basically voids local zoning if the community isn’t compliant with the law.

I’m not made of sugar. I’ll bike in the rain and winter, DCR just needs to stay on top of snow and ice removal.

I-90 Interchange Improvement Project & West Station | Allston

https://www.universalhub.com/2024/left-hand-meet-right-hand-mbta-warns-commuter-rail Ari O has a good comment along the lines of what you're talking about. I'd rather deal with some very disruptive construction phasing if it meant shaving off significant time of the overall project.

Yep. There’s some really uneven pavement near the boathouse from some tree roots. Would love to see them make some improvements there too.

I was talking about the SW Corrudor redesign. But what you’re describing at the JFk intersection is something I’ve felt with as a pedestrian. It’s annoying when a right turning car is on the bridge and blocking the crosswalk.

I agree about the separation from the road. Why would someone stick to a sidewalk adjacent to a wide, busy road. Especially if the bike path has tree coverage to provide shade. What I’m looking forward to the most about the redesign is the wider crosswalks. Dumping both the bike path and...

Park proper. I was thinking about the Ringer Park improvements project, there's a meeting for it tonight. How close does the van need to get? There's a nice stone wall that borders the entire park so curbside isn't really an option...

I'm glad to see more and more Vision Zero plans pop up around the state! I know Boston and Brookline are doing their own ones, but the more the better!

    MA Liquor Laws

I'm not really sure what is easier. Stlin is correct, the total number of licenses is what's really holding things back. The particular type of license does result in some places, like a brewery, from being unable to serve cider or wine alongside its beer. From Notch's website:

    Crazy Transit Pitches

The existing underpass under the Elliot bridge could use some better lighting, but I haven't felt unsafe when traveling through it. I hope any new underpasses would have decent lighting and some other design features to make folks feel safer, like including those police emergency call box/buttons.

Why not do every zip code in the city..... The city-owned licenses seem like a great idea, they keep them off the market so it remains affordable to a smaller business owner. By the way, that map is missing the 3 licenses that are going to Oak Square.
