Per WCVB: "The top floor will include a unique glass expression which has come to be known as ‘The Lantern,’ for its glowing visibility of the skyline," Sounds like a lit crown to me!

Nothing yet. I walk past it every day and it's still under construction, being used as an office of sorts for the contractors I assume. Any idea what's planned to go in there?

Per the webcam, steel is above ground on the right side of the hole!
