Police Details, Cameras, & Enforcement Methods

I think that is separate from what I was talking about. I was describing the case where I am driving on a city street at, or very near, the posted speed limit with no one behind me. A driver approaches and honks because I choose not drive as they would.

    Dana-Farber Cancer Center | 1 Joslin Place | Longwood

Boloco always struck me as a trend follower. When I was a student at the BAC in the late 90s, I would frequent their location across from Berklee. The whole aesthetic (menu, decor, etc.) was very much of that time. Once the trend moved on from smoothies, they had to leave it behind.

I remember them as The Wrap & Smoothie Joint.

Do the Blue plans depend on making a decision about the OCS?

    585 Kendall | 585 Third Street | Kendall Square

That’s weird, since the Third Street side is clearly a few floors from the top.

Rough demolition schedule: Abatement of low rises through end of February. Demolition of low rises, starting with the one closes to the bike path, in mid-March. Demolition of the tower starting end of April. It will be a slow deconstruction with jackhammers. They are aiming to start C-3...

Union Square Somerville Infill and Small Developments

121 Prospect. I haven’t seen that moment frame structure used around Boston before. 118 Prospect. This one seems to be moving a little faster, after the sheathing got weathered.

“Sleek color scheme of light and dark gray and blue siding” is so depressing.

    Wind Turbines in Mass

BSEE approved Vineyard Wind to resume assembly and generation with blades from Cherbourg. All the Gaspè blades will need to be swapped and returned to Canada. Edit: the Updated COP document is available, which details all the remediation work.

    Wind Turbines in Mass

Don’t forget generators lobbying to kill grid infrastructure to import of power from elsewhere.

    Crazy Transit Pitches

I think a full fledged Everett branch south of Assembly would be the only workable approach. Assuming that the commuter rail ROW is four track width beside the casino, the OL branch could route through there and under Broadway to at least Wehner Park.

I’m going to miss the established trees.

    Boynton Yards | 99-101 South/808 Windsor | Somerville

That Crimson story from the 1970s dog whistles about the racism (e.g. a “new breed” of tenant). It’s horrible that the CHA basically stopped caring when it wasn’t the white people.

They also need to make it painless for families on vacation.

    Logan Airport Capital Projects

The same way airlines have become banks with a transportation system attached, airports have become parking providers and shopping malls with a transport facility attached.

    Logan Airport Capital Projects

The fixation on vehicle storage at Logan is deeply regressive. At the very least, they should shift the storage closer to the people (e.g. Logan Express).

Kendall Common Parcel C1 (née Volpe Center) | 25 Broadway | Kendall Square | Cambridge

Smart move removing the trees during the winter. If they had full foliage, the hue and cry would rival that of a World Series game at Fenway Park.
