    Millennium Tower (Filene's) | 426 Washington Street | Downtown

I noticed the incorrect maps, too. But they both state 1 Franklin street, and the descriptions are very much explicit to Millennium Tower. Pictures too. You may be right, they might be shady postings in some way - just lying about the price for example. But I think just the maps are off.

Re: Whiskey Priest/Atlantic Beer Garden Redevelopment | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport First off, I’d encourage you to actually read the lawsuit, and think about what it says. Have you done that? If not, why not? You’re trying to read in something that isn’t there. This particular suit...

    Millennium Tower (Filene's) | 426 Washington Street | Downtown

https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/abo/6015880304.html This is not the first I've seen in this range. From the pictures out the window, it's pretty low, maybe 18th floor or so. Here's one for $2,600 / month: https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/abo/6011458852.html

    Millennium Tower (Filene's) | 426 Washington Street | Downtown

I think a fair number of tenants there aren't as rich as we're tending to think. The image of great wealth was set by the stories of the $37M penthouse (or $39M, whatever it was), because granted, it takes real wealth to buy that. But a lot of the units are being rented, and I've seen...

Re: Whiskey Priest/Atlantic Beer Garden Redevelopment | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport on page 22 of the BRA's June 2016 South Boston Waterfront District Municipal Harbor Plan Renewal and Amendment *: Huh? That 6970 license document did not at all "envision" a Harborwalk around the perimeter of...

The St Regis Residences (former Whiskey Priest site) | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport

Re: Whiskey Priest/Atlantic Beer Garden Redevelopment | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport Stellarfun, I agree, it seems odd that something of that vintage would have taken so long to surface, that's been nagging at me all day. Do these special Chapter 91 licenses get filed with a property's deed at...

Re: Whiskey Priest/Atlantic Beer Garden Redevelopment | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport One other interesting tidbit from the July 2016 CLF letter jumped out at me: Seems like even CLF likes the design, aesthetically.... or at least had the sense to make nice before inserting the knife.

The St Regis Residences (former Whiskey Priest site) | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport

Re: Whiskey Priest/Atlantic Beer Garden Redevelopment | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport I went back and found it. From page 5 of exhibit D, there’s a paragraph that reads: Exhibit D was a July 2016 letter from CLF to Matt Beaton, Secretary of EOEEA (now one of the defendants in their suit)...

The St Regis Residences (former Whiskey Priest site) | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport

Re: Whiskey Priest/Atlantic Beer Garden Redevelopment | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport I agree, the permit ought to have shown up in the title search at the transfer. But I’ve never bought a waterfront property so I don’t know how standard it would be for a title company to look for something like...

Pier 4 Condo Building (Former Anthony's site) | Seaport

I bet if it's floating, you've got a world of Coast Guard regulations to deal with that you can avoid if it's on a cradle.... because then it's no longer a vessel. The guy was running a restaurant, didn't want to be running a maritime venture. If that's true, then I'd also bet there were...

Pier 4 Condo Building (Former Anthony's site) | Seaport

I had the same "WTF?" reaction. If it were my site, I'd be bragging about how I'll set up some sort of commemorative display along the water, including perhaps that boiler itself or any other hunk of the vessel that could look good. Seems like Tishman is not only giving up some cool free...

The St Regis Residences (former Whiskey Priest site) | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport

Re: Whiskey Priest/Atlantic Beer Garden Redevelopment | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport I don’t think your description is what happened. I have gotten the exhibits, and the special license gave the owners three years to build the 12 foot walkway out beyond the restaurant. I have no idea of...

The St Regis Residences (former Whiskey Priest site) | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport

Re: Whiskey Priest/Atlantic Beer Garden Redevelopment | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport I’ve made a first pass through the CLF’s filing, and there is more to this story than I had realized. First, the prior owner of the property converted it from a “water-dependent use” – a seafood processing...

General MBTA Topics (Multi Modal, Budget, MassDOT)

Will do, and that's how the articles made it look, like it was her pet project. Do you - or anyone else here - have any sense of the chance this gets shot down by schedule planners? I mean, I intend to push back, but am curious how many more layers of vetting this would get within the T.

Thanks for posting this; I need to get off a missive to my state reps and senators (all Newton), as this is looking FUBAR. I don't ride commuter rail, but I still can't stand seeing this sort of screw up.

Justin SHOULD I EAT AN APPLE?

Judging from past votes, how do we know Justin's going to stick by the vote? What if we give him a clear NO, and he agrees, but then comes back in a few weeks posting "So I ATE the damned APPLE anyways because rich elites ruining my harshed mellow and rEAsonS so I aTE it!!!" Or if we give...
