    Aerials

It strikes me every time I see aerials of The Seaport - it seems like no matter how much gets built, there's still sooooooo much space left to fill.

State Street HQ | One Congress | Bulfinch Crossing | West End

This is going to be a standout.

Hurley Building Redevelopment | 19 Staniford St | West End

Finally! Tear this POS down. PS - are people worried about Boston losing its "brutalist heritage"? Boston has brutalism everywhere. Its practically overpowering.

Marine Wharf (Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites) | 660 Summer St | Seaport

I love that Summer Street view, the way it closes off the end of the street.

The Sudbury (Bulfinch Crossing Residential Tower) | 50 Sudbury St | GCG Phase I | Gov't Center

This tower is very impressive in person. Maybe its because its not crowded by other towers; makes it seem taller than it is.

[CANCELED] 1000 Boylston Street | MassDOT Parcel 15 | Back Bay

If the Back Bay skyline looks "awkward" I wouldn't blame it on 1 Dalton. A more likely culprit are all those 300'-400' stumps. No reason why the Marriot and Westin shouldn't have been built to 600'. Other more recent towers should have been taller as well.

Lyrik Back Bay | 1001 Boylston Street (Parcel 12) | Back Bay

Its still a great project. But, man, the green would have made iconic, a Boston landmark.

Raffles Boston (40 Trinity Place) | 426 Stuart Street | Back Bay

Copley was a gorgeous tower; that's why its a big loss. Not about gaps or whatever. Very prominent location, very visible. I hope it still happens.

Seaport Neighborhood - Infill and Discussion

Why do people still doubt the Seaport? Ever time I go there there are tons of people around. And its only partially built out.

Lyrik Back Bay | 1001 Boylston Street (Parcel 12) | Back Bay

The green is gone?!? This project went from awesome to slightly above mediocre.

City Hall Plaza Revamp | Government Center

No. Tear it down. Tear Center Plaza down. Tear the State Service Center down. And tear the JFK down (yup, I went there) or at least fix it so it doesn't look like a tribute to the space shuttle.

Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

For aesthetics. The flat top doesn't look good, sorry.

Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

^Maybe Cambridge will build a 1000' like they were saying, lol.

Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

Its still a great building/project even at the reduced height. But....downtown really does need a peak.

    🔹 What's Happening With Project X?

^ That's the one I've been wondering about. Didn't know its name.

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Yikes, some of you people are tough critics. This building is very nice. It’s a new tallest for downtown. And along with the Millennium Tower, it draws your eyes away from the 60’s-70’s building blocks. For decades, Boston’s downtown skyline was all background buildings; the standouts were...

Oxford Office Bldg. | 125 Lincoln St | Leather District

Another ugly structure bites the dust, :D

    Paul Rudolph's Government Services Center

Re: Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District That would be perfectly fine.

Lyrik Back Bay | 1001 Boylston Street (Parcel 12) | Back Bay

They should follow the "plaza over pike" formula with buildings on either side all the way to Kenmore Square, at least.
