What makes Boston so great is contrast. The Seaport looks and feels like no other place in Boston. It's bright (due to the sun casting down on the wide roads), shiny and new. Liberty Warf is bustling with activity most days and night, Pier 4 is going to be excellent as well. Seaport Square...

That's great. Curious to see what the neighborhood groups come up with in terms of opposition against this one. It's a huge project, but looks like a win-win all around. Here's hoping that this project receives an urban design with street level activation. Surface lots are concerning.

Ink Block Lite?

There are actually some excellent parks in some of Boston's public housing developments.. D St. in Southie has multiple, and one large one that was recently remodeled. Q Park is fine. Would have been nice if there were some trees added and a few picnic tables, but nothing wrong with this park...

That's good news, hopefully something can open while Lawn on D is still up a running. The crowd that it draws is impressive, and would be complimented very well with an upbeat bar/lounge. Aloft's Wxyz bar looks like it fits that mold, although I've never been. Seems strange that the retail at...

Boring. But maybe the sort of retail that is missing from the other pockets of the Seaport? Nonetheless hoping the hotels have retail that will draw in Southie proper as well as convention goers.

There is significant office space allocated to this project which will need executive parking, etc.

All of the current developments on D will have significant retail.. Flats on D, the two hotels as well As the proposed garage next to the hotels. Not sure about the BCEC side, but the outside event space will help tremendously. I'm curious as to what the Blue tower in the rendering is...
